Beginner's Scarf Class

• Wednesdays 6 & 13 February 2008: 6:30 - 8:30 PM

$40 for 2 class sessions

If you haven't learned yet, it's time! Part of the class is instruction on how to select yarn and compatible needles, so you may purchase all materials at the time of class. For those wishing to bring their own materials, bring a bulky or worsted yarn with compatible needles (size U.S. #8 -#15 depending upon yarn weight).

Part One: learn to select yarn & compatible needles, cast on, and knit

Part Two: return to complete your scarf, cast off, and fringe it if you wish. Wear it home!

Materials

• light-colored, worsted or bulky weight yarn (10% discount on yarn for class)
• compatible needles according to yarn weight (available at The Grove)
• scissors or yarn cutter
• calculator
• tape measure
• paper
• pencil

The fees listed above cover instruction only. 10% discount applies to all yarns purchased for class on the day of class.
