Knitted Christmas Stocking

October 10 and October 24, 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.  Instruction Fee:  $20.00 for both classes.  Preregistration required.

It's not too early to start knitting for Christmas.  Make this classic striped stocking (perhaps in some funky colors!) for the latest member of your family (including pets), yourself, or a dear friend.  In two classes, you will learn the basics of sock knitting which can be applied to all sizes of socks.  Great opportunity to learn to work with double pointed needles and make a jogless stripe while working in the round.  Must know how to knit and purl with ease.

Materials

2 skeins of Lamb's Pride Worsted in different colors

U.S. #7, 16" circular needles.
U.S. #7 double-pointed needles, 8" preferred.
Knit Simple Magazine, Fall 2009.
