Beach Beanie 1 - 4:00 PM Sunday 29 April: $25
Learn to knit a simple beach beanie. Perfect class for those who have completed the scarf class and want to learn the purl stitch. Pattern provided. (Instructor Susan Wells) Materials available for purchase: 2 skeins of Louisa Harding's Monte Carlos, size #7 US straight needles. Bring a calculator, tape measure and paper & pencil. Learn the beautiful yet simple Fan & Feather stitch composed of three rows of stockinette stitch and only one row of pattern. Depending on your yarn weight, you can create a scarf, shawl, or afghan! Learn the fundamentals of working with wired ribbon by making a gathered rosette with button center and a leaf. This is a great beginning ribbon project. Pattern Reading 3 - 4 PM Sunday 15 April: $25
This is a class for students who know how to knit and purl but are too intimidated to take on a pattern. Dave will help you decipher the abbreviations and provide you with essential pattern-reading skills. There will be nothing stopping you from knitting garments after taking this class. Class Cancellation Policy
No Exceptions

In the event The Grove must cancel a class due to lack of participants, The Grove will issue a full refund. Participants who are unable to attend as planned must notify The Grove within five (5) days of the class in order to receive a refund, otherwise the class fee is forfeited. Fees cannot be applied to future classes.
