- If you've never picked up a hook before, or think that crocheting is making a really really really long chain, then this class is for you! Learn the basics -- from making a foundation chain to simple crochet stitches. We will work on a sampler washcloth in this class, and there will be a free pattern for a simple scarf for you to take home to continue to practice. - Spiral Bracelet Class Sunday September 24: 1 - 5pm $45 + $25 materials
- Make a sterling silver or copper bracelet using basic wire wrapping techniques. Tools will be provided for use during the class. (Instructors Bea & Carol) Level: Easy (Prerequisite: basic knowledge of the use of hand tools.)
Introduction
to Lace Sunday September 24: 11 - 3pm $25
- Learn the beautiful yet simple Fan & Feather stitch composed of three rows of stockinette stitch and only one row of pattern. With lace weight yarn, make a fine scarf; choose an Aran or worsted weight to make a lovely shawl; or select a bulky weight and make a beautiful afghan. (Instructor David Kraft) Materials available for purchase: yarn of your choice and needles recommended by manufacturer to obtain proper gauge. Skill Level: Intermediate; must know how to knit and purl and follow a basic pattern.

Class Cancellation Policy -- No Exceptions
In the event the Grove needs to cancel a class due to lack of participants, the Grove will issue a full refund. Participants who are unable to attend as planned must notify the Grove within five days of the class in order to receive a refund. Otherwise the class fee is forfeited. Fees cannot be applied to future classes.
