Liz Knapp

I have been knitting for more than twenty-five years. I learned from my mother and grandmother. After following published patterns and buying mass-market yarn for many years, I attended my first Stitches convention in 1996. Since then, I have attended many classes, conventions and seminars with authors and designers such as Sally Melville, Lily Chin, Evie Rosen, Joan Schrouder and Leslye Solomon.

I taught knitting technique in private and group lessons through the Morale, Welfare and Recreation department (MWR) at Naval Station Rota, Spain in 2004-2007.

I worked for What's Needling U yarn shop in Frisco, Colorado during the summer of 2007. I belong to the Fiber Guild of Summit County (Colorado), as well as several social knitting groups in my new home of San Diego, California. I am the California sales representative for a small Colorado yarn company, Lonesome Stone Natural Fiber Mill, and a 2008 member of The National NeedleArts Association (TNNA).
