Valerie's main knitting interests are:

• Intarsia knitting
• felting
• needle felting, and
• crafting new goods from recycled sweaters.

Having recently been exposed to the Japanese craft of Amigurumi, Valerie has been busy crafting her own special crocheted friends.

Having a lifelong passion for the arts and all things craft oriented, Valerie has a BA in Fine Art with a Painting emphasis. Knitting and crochet represent a new medium for painting, as crafting with fiber is the ultimate in planning and execution if you want your project to come out just the way you design it.
